Dear NESSI Members,
With this e-mail I want to provide you more details about NESSI Strategic
Summit event, as one of the different events of the “FP7: EUROPEAN
INNOVATION AND RTD TRANSFORMING SECTORS’ WEEK”, whose venue will be the city

The core event during that week will be the conference “The European RTD

NESSI Strategic Summit is the first event focused on results of the NESSI
Strategic and Compliant projects. It is a unique opportunity to showcase
these projects, most of them at the end of their second year and therefore
with many results already available.
NESSI Strategic Summit will be a two days event (preliminary agenda
attached):
- First day (12th April 2010) allowing to have an overview of all
NESSI Projects and the positiong of NESSI in the context of the PPPs
- Second day (13th April 2010) with 90 minutes projects workshops
allowing to have a detailed knowledge of these projects.
NESSI Strategic Summit will also have 14 stands providing high visibility
during the FULL WEEK:
- 1 for NESSI and NEXOF
- 1 for INES (NESSI Spain) and the NESSI National Initiatives
- 5 for NSPs (EzWEB, MASTER, RESERVOIR, SLA@SOI, SOA4All)
- 5 for Sponsors
- 2 for NCPs (COMPAS, Primelife, Tas3, FAST, MyMobileWeb). Since
there are more projects than stands available, we will organize how they
share stands depending on their interest and availability. It is also
depending in a formal confirmation by all NSP and Sponsors that they will
use their stand.
I will contact in paralel all NESSI Strategic and Compliant projects to
define the final agenda and confirm their availability for the stands.
The registration to the event will be part of a single registration process
(to open in January) for all events during the full week. All events will be
without any fee and although CE and Spanish Government cover most of the
costs we still have some costs to be covered by NESSI. We expect to cover
these costs with money saved in ServiceWave and 5 sponsors. I encourage all
of you to sponsor NESSI Strategic Summit (find attached Sponsorship
Package).
Best regards,
The NESSI Office for the NESSI Community
